My name is Erin, and I believe in making the most out of every opportunity in life–wherever you happen to be. If you value health, balance, and well-being, Running Erins, Racing Home is for you!
Running Erins was started in 2015 to document my journey as a newlywed building a life with my fabulous husband while finding balance in our chaotic life. As a service member and military spouse, that’s easier said than done!
Since 2011, I’ve lived in New York, Missouri (twice), North Carolina, and Afghanistan–with a move to Tennessee in the near future. Frequent moves and fluctuating timelines means that I am a perennial renter. Each new home brings a fresh slate and a new challenge. My goal is to craft a place where we can relax, entertain, and grow together…even if that place changes every few months!
I am always looking to make low-maintenance, high-impact lifestyle choices. I crave wholesome, healthy, and efficient outcomes in the gym, the kitchen, and the home. I’m a “retired” college athlete, and can’t wait to share my challenging workouts, delicious recipes, household tip and tricks, and some fledgling interior design pursuits!
Oh yeah…why Running Erins? Well, I spent the first 10 years of my life under the impression that the word “errands” were just another version of my name. Now that I work 12-hour days, running errands definitely has transformed into Erin, Running around like a crazy person…then Racing Home to my happy place! And, coincidentally, I love running too!
